Meet our leader!
Pat has been running this business since 1996 and still loves doing it, even coming in to man the shop most Saturdays and Sundays!
He has had many interesting jobs in the past including but not limited to co-founding Canterbury Draught Beer and working at the Brewery which used to be on the corner of Saint Asaph st and Antigua St.
If you've ever seen the Grey Sedan rolling around Christchurch with "ASS" as its number plate or heard "pat Pat PAT" on the radio, that's him. (btw ASS stands for Auto Sound & Security).
A truly joyful character with a cheeky smile, you can be sure he'll help you out with your happiness as the number one priority.
Grant
Grant is our Lead alarm technician.
He has been in the industry since 1986 and over the years has gathered a HUGE arsenal of know how with car alarms and audio systems.
He enjoys classic rock and more than anything loves cruising around on his 160 horsepower Suzuki Hayabusa!
Grant installs all of our alarms with incredible care and precision.
He spends at least a whole day doing each one.
Going the extra mile just to make sure that no thieves can ever locate or get to the alarm brain, and looming all the wiring into the car's factory wiring looms so that in the event of someone trying to bypass or remove the alarm, they wouldn't have the foggiest idea on where to start.
He also specializes in putting sound systems in classic cars in a discrete and tasteful manner.
So if you've got any alarm questions or a golden oldie that you want some sounds in, Grant will have all the answers for you.
James
James is our young gun!
He has been working for AutoSound & Security since 2012 and arrives to work with the same enthusiasm he did on his first day.
What started out as a simple hobby for James has exploded into a full blown career in car audio with multiple Facebook pages and YouTube channels where he shares his experiences with and love for car audio.
James enjoys mainly rock and electronic music, and to no surprise has installed a HUGE SOUND SYSTEM in his Mitsubishi Legnum with multiple amplifiers and TWO 15" subwoofers!
He appreciates all types of music enjoyment, whether it be super LOUD & BASSY, or simply the best sound quality money can buy, or even a simple sound system on a budget.
Whatever it is you need in your vehicle, he'll know the system for you!
